The effects of Reiki build up cumulatively, so it is advised to have a course of treatments to help produce long-term beneficial changes, emotionally and physically. It is generally recommended to have a course of treatments between 4-6 weekly intervals.
Reiki is not a substitute for veterinary care and treatment. If your pet has any symptoms of illness you should call your vet. Reiki is safe and will compliment any form of complementary or medical treatment. The law currently states that before your pet receives a Reiki treatment you must gain veterinary consent. A Reiki practitioner will not diagnose or recommend any form of treatment.
This also helps with natural healing, immunity, and sleep.

All animals can benefit from a course of Reiki treatments regardless of age or state of health. Beneficial changes can take place over a short space of time. Below are some of the problems or areas that I and others have found Reiki to help with:
Receiving Reiki is a simple process. The Reiki Practitioner will decide whether to treat your pet whilst in contact with him i.e on their lap or sitting with them. The practitioner can either lay their hands on your pet or can complete the treatment from a distance, depending on which method is best suited to your pets temperament. During the treatment, energy (called ‘chi’) is drawn through the practitioner into the animal, helping to produce a state of balance.
Different animals may act in different ways. Some animals will just relax and soak up the energy, some will lay down and go to sleep and other will just carry on as normal, but be assured they will feel the benefit from it.
We perform all animal Reiki in your pets familiar surrounding so as not to cause any unnecessary distress. Our animal Reiki prices reflect the cost of a home visit within a 10 miles radius of our treatment room.
We are quite happy to travel further distances subject to reimbursement for time and travel expenses which I will be happy to discuss prior to confirming your appointment.
Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) is a simple Japanese energy-balancing method that is used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. It is most well known as a sort of hands-on treatment technique, and many people have regular Reiki treatments.
Reiki was developed by a man called Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s in Japan and people use Reiki for self-healing, for spiritual or self-development and to treat others.
Reiki is not a religion.
All our treatments are performed fully clothed by our fully qualified and insured holistic therapist. They are done in calm, private & relaxed treatment room. Rest assured that you'll leave the treatment room feeling more relaxed and revived than you entered.
